CAOL ILA 2010 - SCOTCH WHISKEY (ISLAY 12 YEARS - BOURBON FINISH)

CASK STRENGTH 58.5% - 50CL

Caol ila (islay) aged 12 years fully matured in 2nd fill hogshead bourbon (cask #314030/2010).

Aroma: fine peat, notes of iodine and sea breeze. Lemon and olive are detected both on the nose and on the palate.

Taste: Peat is present but not overpowering, with fresh notes of lemon and cold ash. Very light hint of vanilla.

Finish: elegant, with a marine and peaty character.
