Padre de los Alacranes is an ensemble of Dasylirion and Agave Cenizo, which grow wild among the rocks in the Durango Sierra.
Cenizo and Dasylirion agave plants are cooked together in underground ovens, then fermented and distilled in an artisanal way.
From the union of wild agaves with Sotol plants comes this unique and inimitable distillate, surprising for its mineral and rocky notes, deep and complex with a fascinating vegetal vein, the vegetal notes of the agave intertwine with the taste of dasylirion; a true crossover between mezcal and sotol.
Usage suggestion: Tommy ' s Margarita, in cocktails with tropical fruit and fruit sodas, or enjoyed neat.
Fun fact: Durango is called by the Mexicans “ tierra de alacranes ” that is “land of scorpions”.
